Thai Tourism and Sports Minister receives Bahrain’s Ambassador in Bangkok

Bangkok, Feb. 23 (BNA): Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn received Bahrain’s Ambassador in Bangkok Mona Abbas Radhi. The minister stressed the importance of strengthening Bahraini-Thai cooperation in the sectors of tourism, youth and sports in the post-pandemic era. He said that Thailand is considered one of the main tourist destinations for Bahraini tourists, expressing his country’s readiness to encourage Thai businessmen to invest in Bahrain, especially in the tourism and health care sectors. During the meeting, the Thai minister expressed thanks to the Kingdom of Bahrain for its efforts to build bridges between Thailand and the Middle East region. The ambassador praised the distinguished relations between both countries, stressing the importance of strengthening mutual cooperation in various youth and sports fields, and exploring ways to encourage commercial, investment, tourism and medical tourism. She highlighted Bahrain’s efforts to attract foreign investments, especially in the tourism sector as one of the strategic plans of the economic recovery plan for the Kingdom.
