Thai youths bag home medals from IOAA

BANGKOK, October 24 (TNA) - Thai junior high school students have won one silver and two bronzes from the 17th International Astrophysics and Astronomy Olympiad (IOAA), held in South Korea's Kwang Ju City from October 16-24. The Promotion of Academic Olympiad and Development of Science Education Foundation under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Khrom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindhra (POSN) announced Wednesday that the Thai students include those from Suan Kularb Wittayalai School in Bangkok and from Phuket Wittayalai School in the Thai South. The Thai youth winners were scheduled to return home Wednesday evening. (TNA)
