Thai Youths scored big at World Robot Game 2016
BANGKOK, Aug 27 (TNA) -- Thai youth representatives were able to bring home three gold, four silver and two bronze medals, along with a Performance Award and highest total score at the World Robot Game 2016 held in Indonesia.
Pitan Puentong, Senior Advisor in Networking System and Participation Development of the Office of the Basic Education Commission, who led the Thai team to the contest in Indonesia's Bandung city for the World Robot Game 2016, held between August 24-28, announced that the national team was able to win three gold medals, two by the Baan In-Plaeng School in Sakon Nakhon province, for Search and Rescue Robot category, and the Sumo Robot category, while the students from Nong Bua School of Nakhon Sawan province were able to bring home one gold for the Line Tracing Robot-IBEAM category.
The Plang Yao Wittayakhon School in Chachoengsao province was able to win two silver medals for Search and Rescue Robot and Sumo Robot, whereas students from the Srisawas Witthayakan School in Nan province won one silver for Fire Fight Robot, and youths from Nong Bua School were able to bring home another silver for the Line Tracing Robot-IBEAM category.
The Tab Tim Siam 04 High School in Surin province won a bronze medal for Fire Fighting Robot and students from Nong Bua School was able to take home a bronze medal for Underwater Robot category.
Mr Pitan reported that students from Karnchanapisek Wittayalai in Kalasin province have also brought home the Performance Award. (TNA)
