This conference, the minister said, is an annually event for radio broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region, aimed to create a stage for radio personnel worldwide to exchange knowledge, experiences, and technology on radio and related media broadcasting to attract more listeners, as the industry is said to be on the downturn at present.
The event would also help create a cooperation network internationally which would help to create activeness among the communication circle and the media, which in turn would help improve skills and experiences for the media people.
Around 300 participants from national private and public organisations, along with 100 representatives from around attended the event.
The conference would include workshops and various conferences by leading radio experts from Asia-Pacific and Europe under various interesting topics, such as skills for good advertisement scripts to increase commercial revenues for radio, creating a connection with listeners. (TNA)
