Thailand provides health packages for world tourists

BANGKOK, September 3 (TNA) - Thailand's Department of Health Service Support, under the Ministry of Public Health, will, later this month, introduce three special health packages for foreign tourists under a campaign named “Visit Thailand Enhance Your Healthy Life” The department's director-general, Dr. Boonruang Triruangworawat, told journalists of the information on September 2, saying the campaign, to be launched on September 9, is his department's cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the private sector. Dr. Boonruang said under the campaign, the special health packages will comprise three categories, including health checkups for different age groups, dentistry services with the prices at all hospitals and infertility treatment through modern medical technologies. Dr. Boonruang said around 70 private hospitals and clinics, certified with the JCI standard, participate in the campaign. (TNA)
