Thais stranded at Incheon Airport arrive home
BANGKOK, October 18 (TNA) - Some 228 of the 400 Thai passengers traveling by PC Airline (PC Air) stranded at Incheon International Airport, South Korea, Wednesday have now returned home.
They arrived at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 4 a.m. Thrusday morning, according to Director of the Thai Department of Civil Aviation Woradej Harnprasert.
Woradej said the PC's chartered plane had been banned from taking off from the Incheon International Airport, due to the airline's overdue payment of airport fees and refueling gas.
However, he said, the flight was back in operation early Thursday morning after overdue payments were made.
According to the director, the other 170 passengers would arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 10 p.m. Thursday night with the PC Air. (TNA)
