Thais in UK warned of terrorism

BANGKOK, May 23 (TNA) – The Thai Foreign minister has warned all Thai citizens in the United Kingdom and other countries of terrorist attacks in the wake of deadly explosions at a concert in northern England. Two bombs went off during a concert by American pop singer Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena in Manchester, killing at least 19 people and injuring about 50, early Tuesday (Thailand time). Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai urged all Thais residing or travelling aboard to watch out for possible terrorist attacks even though the situation in Manchester is now under control. He said Manchester is a big city and many Thais live there. Such a violent incident, causing a number of casualties, should strongly be condemned. The Foreign Ministry is working with the Embassy of Thailand in London to investigate if any Thai citizens have been affected by the blasts, according to the Thai media. (TNA)
