"Thank You Prince Khalifa" campaign launched

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): A campaign is to be launched online in tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa. The Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Coexistence Chairman Youssef Bu Zaboon announced the initiative, themed "Thank You HRH Prince Khalifa". He urged citizens and residents to take part in the online campaign and thank HRH the Premier for his reforms and sound directives for the sake of the nation. He cited particularly the Premier’s directive, establishing an electronic money transfer system to protect wages and commit businessmen to deposit private sector workers’ salaries in the banks, instead to cash payment. He paid tribute to HRH the Premier, hailing his calls to achieve peace and collective security and end crises and conflicts to enable nations to muster all efforts to promote sustainable development. He underlined HRH the Premier’s message, urging all countries in the world to take bold measures to confront challenges threatening security and stability. He commended the Premier’s crucial role in Bahrain’s strides towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2030) as part of a comprehensive vision that promotes housing, educational, and health sectors and seeks to enhance citizens’ welfare.
