Third Traffic Forum: 90% of drivers committed to new law

Manama, Mar.16 (BNA): Under the patronage of General Director of Southern Governorate Police, Brigadier Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the General Directorate of Traffic in cooperation with the University of Bahrain held today the Third Traffic Forum as part of the 32nd Gulf Traffic Week. General Director of Traffic, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa highlighted that the commitment of drivers to traffic rules could be around 90%, highlighting that the new traffic law and the point system target uncommitted drivers. He said that promoting traffic safety in a joint task. The forum highlighted the aims and objectives of the point system, while the General Director of Southern Governorate Police inaugurated an exhibition in the sideline of the forum.
