Three foreign representatives laud Iranˈs support for refugees

Semnan, April 10, IRNA – Three senior officials of Australia, Japan and Norway Embassies in Tehran thanked Iranˈs role in helping the foreign refugees on Wednesday. Australia ambassador to Tehran Paul Foley, Minister of the Japanese Embassy in Tehran Akira CHIBA and First Secretary of Norwegian Embassy in Tehran Thomas Bruusgaard attended the opening ceremony of a refugees school in Semnan province. They held a meeting with Governor-General of Semnan Province Mahammad Vakili and thanked Iranian assistance to the refugees and providing education services for them. The Australian ambassador to Tehran, in this meeting noted that the international community should support Tehranˈs commitment to help refugees. Minister of the Japanese mission in Tehran called Iran-Japan relations as historical and cultural. He praised Islamic Republicˈs humanitarian assistance to the refugees. The first secretary of Norwegian embassy in Tehran for his part underlined that Norway is ready to help Iran support foreign refugees.
