Tourism development initiatives highlighted

Manama, July 4 (BNA): Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA)’s Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa has received a delegation from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The meeting discussed topics of common interest including ways to enhance cooperation and increase innovative initiatives and means to benefit from international expertise in the field of tourism. This comes in line with the BTEA’s long-term strategy to further develop the Kingdom of Bahrain’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours. Yours.’, which contributes towards the Kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.
