Train movement stopped because of train accident in Azerbaijan fully restored

He said that the accident did not affect the schedule of trains, because they were moving on the additional line. The capsized tanks have been already raised. The trains move normally. A commission has been established to investigate the accident. Seven tanks with oil derailed in Azerbaijani Hajigabul region. A fire occurred as a result of the accident, the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said today. According to the report, seven of 40 tanks of the train, carrying crude oil from Baku to Georgia, derailed at the Pirsaat station. Three tanks, with a capacity of 60 tons each, overturned. Oil spilled in an area of 1,000 square meters and burst into flame. Fire engines of the State Fire Service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived and prevented fire from spreading to other tanks and houses. The fire was completely extinguished at 02:24. At present, the operations are underway to eliminate the consequences of the accident. Firefighters are on duty. The investigation is underway.
