Training workshop concludes

Manama, Aug.29 (BNA): A workshop themed "Best Practices in Investigating Terror Crimes and Funding" concluded at the Public Security Officers’ Club. The training directorate held the workshop in cooperation with the Interior Ministry’s Joint Anti-Terror Centre and the Bureau of Judicial Assistance at the US Department of Justice. The director of training stressed the importance of such workshops, which follow the directives of the Minister of Interior to develop and modernize procedures, enhance security work and develop human resources. He commended cooperation between the Directorate of Training and the Interior Ministry’s Joint Anti-Terror Centre as well as strenuous efforts to enhance and hone security servicemen’s skills to deal with all challenges whilst performing their duties. The director of training then distributed certificates to participants who took part in the workshop.
