Transportation Minister receives DHL Express Middle East and North Africa CEO

Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Ka’abi, has underlined the vital role of the cargo and transportation companies in promoting the transportation and logistic services sector. He was speaking as he received today Chief Executive of DHL Express Middle East and North Africa Noor Suleiman. He praised cooperation with the company, lauding its key role in upgrading the logistic services in the kingdom and providing training and employment opportunities for citizens. Both sides discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and developing partnership in providing freight services at postal centers that provide service users with more comprehensive options and enhance competitiveness. Noor Suleiman expressed thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication for its continuous support to the private sector to enhance its contributions, alongside the public one, to achieve the desired goals.
