Transportation minister: Third bridge on Strait to be built with own resources

ISTANBUL (A.A) - January 15, 2012 - Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yilidrim said that the third bridge on Istanbul Strait would be constructed by own resources. Yildirim said on Sunday that North Marmara Highway Project, which also included the construction of a third bridge on Istanbul Strait, would be built by own resources. A tender will be held again soon for the project, said Yildirim, adding that no companies bid in the tender which had been held last week. Yildirim said that the project would connect Europe to Caucasus, Middle East and Far East.
