Trial of three suspects adjourned

Manama, Sep. 15 (BNA): Advocate General Haroon Alzayani said the High Criminal Court today convened to consider the case involving three suspects, including a religious figure, who committed the crimes of illegal fundraising, money laundering and financial transactions to conceal their source and add legitimacy to them. The court session was held in public in compliance with the law and was attended by only one of the suspects. The two other suspects failed to appear before the court although they had been duly notified. The court decided to adjourn the trial to September 26 in order for the defence attorney to present his arguments on behalf of the attending defendant.
