Turkey's air traffic on rise

ANKARA (A.A) - February 9, 2012 - The Turkish airports authority has said that air traffic in Turkey has grown 4.8 percent as of January 2012 over to the same month of last year. A statement by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) said that air traffic in domestic lines increased by 3.6 percent and in international lines increased by 6.9 percent in January 2012 when compared to the same month last year. Passenger traffic in airports also rose by 17 percent in the same month.
