Turkey's finance minister sees Turkey, Gulf region cooperation as perfect combination

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkey's finance minister defined cooperation between Turkey and Gulf states as a perfect combination. Mehmet Simsek said there were great agriculture, tourism, energy and health opportunities in Turkey, and resource is the Gulf region. "This is something like a perfect combination," Simsek said during First Business Forum of Turkey-Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Istanbul. Simsek said Turkey had drawn almost 110 billion USD of investments in the last decade, which was an indicator of the investors' confidence in the country.
