Turkish Cypriot president meets UN chief's special adviser

LEFKOSA (A.A) - February 2012 - Turkish Cypriot President Dervis Eroglu on Tuesday met with Alexander Downer, UN secretary general's special adviser on Cyprus. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Downer said he exchanged views with Eroglu regarding negotiation chapters on properties, citizenship and administration. "We need to make a positive and constructive progress by the end of March," Downer told reporters, recalling that he was scheduled to present to Ban Ki-moon a report on the state of settlement talks by then.
