Turkish Defense Minister Yilmaz: We want all diplomatic channels to be open with Iran

IZMIR (A.A) - Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz on Thursday said that they wanted all diplomatic channels to be open with Iran and that all concerned parties should not break away from Iran. Speaking to reporters in the western province of Izmir, Minister Yilmaz said that they wanted the solution of all problems by dialogue. Answering a question on the Strait of Hormuz, Ismet Yilmaz emphasized that they believed the strait would remain open to international trade. Any other scenario at the strait would benefit no one. We want a peaceful policy. We want every issue to be solved through dialogue, Yilmaz stressed.
