Turkish delegation visits KHUH

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA)-- Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and former Turkish Health Minister Professor Recep Akdag and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH). The visit was at an invitation by the Supreme Council for Health, as part of efforts made to enforce the comprehensive health insurance scheme for Bahraini citizens. The Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health and the Turkish delegation were welcomes by KHUH Commander Major General Shaikh Salman bin Atiyatallah Al Khalifa. Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed and the Turkish delegation listened to a briefing on KHUH before touring the hospital's new state-of-the-art departments and getting updated on the work process there.
