Turkish deputy premier says no journalists in jail for journalistic activities

ROTTERDAM (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said that there were no journalists in jail in Turkey for their journalistic activities.
Bozdag attended a gathering in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and replied to questions.
Bozdag said that he held fruitful talks in the Netherlands.
Answering a question, Bozdag said that no one was tried in Turkey for carrying out his profession as a journalist, adding that Turkey was a state of law.
