Turkish investors' direct investments in Europe up 82.7 pct

ANKARA (A.A) - Investments made by Turkish investors in Europe went up 82.7 percent in a year, according to data of the Turkish Central Bank. While Turkish investors made investments worth 902 million USD in Europe between January and November, 2010, Turkish investors' investments in 2011 went up to 1.6 billion USD in the same period. Turkish investors' investments in all corners of the world went up 58.3 percent in 2011 when compared to the previous year and reached a figure of 2.2 billion USD. Turkish investors' investments in Asia were worth 507 million USD in 2011. Turkish investors in general chose France to invest in Europe and Azerbaijan in Asia.
