Turkish PM warns Syrian leader: Yours is dead-end street

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by saying "yours is a dead-end street" on Tuesday. Speaking at a group meeting of his Justice and Development (AK) Party in the Turkish Parliament in Ankara on Tuesday, Erdogan said that he advised al-Assad to turn back before more bloodshed takes place in Syria and more innocent individuals get killed. We are making efforts to facilitate peace and stability in Syria. We will cooperate with countries who will opt to be on the side of the Syrian people and not the Syrian administration. We will continue to support the initiatives of the Arab League, Erdogan stressed.
