Two suspects arrested for selling Hizbollah pictures

Manama, March 16 (BNA): The Capital Governorate Police Director General announced today the arrest of a Bahraini shop owner and his Asian employee for selling Hezbollah-related images. The group is classified in the Gulf and Arab world as a terrorist organisation. The General Director said an investigation was launched after police had received information about the shop. The two individuals were arrested and large quantity of images were confiscated from the store. He said legal procedures were taken and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution. The General Director warned that legal action will be taken against organisations or individuals who have links to Hezbollah. Investment or commercial links, charity work, ownership of bank accounts or money transfers in support of the group are illegal. (MOI)
