UAE condemns attack on French embassy in Tripoli

Abu Dhabi, April 24, 2013 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister condemned strongly the bomb attack which targeted the French Embassy in Libya yesterday in which, staff members were wounded. He expressed UAE's solidarity with France against this act of terror. Sheikh Abdullah said in a statement made yesterday: "While denouncing this terrorist and criminal acts, the UAE emphasises the need for all the countries of the world to confront and combat terrorism regardless of its source and motives". He wished the injured embassy staff speedy recovery. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed UAE's support for the Libyan Government during this historic and transitional period and for its efforts to establish security and stability. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
