UAE to finance causeway project in Yemen

Al Mukalla, July13 (BNA): The Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC) has signed a contract to finance the reconstruction and renovation of the 1.023-meter breakwater in Mukalla, at a total cost of AED 123.8 million. The agreement was signed by the head of the UAE Relief Team in Hadramout, Matar Al Ketbi, and officials of Belbahith and bin Al Shaikh Abubakr contracting companies. Al Ketbi said the project will help ease congestion at Al Siteen road in Al Mukalla, according to UAE News Agency (WAM).
