UAE Martyr Day celebrated

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): The UAE embassy in Bahrain celebrated today the Martyr Day in homage to those who sacrificed their lives in the fields of dignity and honour. The UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Abdul Redha Abdullah Al Khouri gave a speech in which he paid homage to the UAE martyrs, describing the occasion as an opportunity to recall with appreciation the sacrifice of the martyrs under the slogan “ the UAE is Proud of You”. He also paid tribute to the UAE leadership for their keenness to honour the martyrs and provide their families with full care, adding that this affirms loyalty of the nation to its people who sacrifice themselves for it. He noted that the UAE will remain strong and protected thanks to its people and their allegiance to the leadership. He also expressed happiness about sharing with the UAE people today the inauguration of the Martyrs Memorial in Abu Dhabi to boost the culture of paying homage to those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the nation.
