UAE Parliamentary Division members at Arab Parliament pay their respects to Pope Tawadros II over victims of terrorism

CAIRO, 18th February, 2015 (WAM) -- As part of the Arab Parliament (AP) delegation led by Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, Speaker of the AP, members of the UAE Parliamentary Division visited St. Mark Cathedral Church in Abbasia, Cairo, to offer their condolences to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, over the Egyptian martyrs who were killed in Libya by the Daesh terrorist organisation. The UAE delegation also included Misbah Belajeed Al Ketbi and Salem bin Mohammed bin Huwaiden. Al Jarwan said the delegation offered its respects to His Holiness Pope Twadharos in the name of the Arab people across the Arab world over the Egyptian martyrs who were killed in Libya at the hands of the Daesh terrorists yesterday. He stressed that "this painful incident is offensive to all humanity and its components," stressing that all this calamity that has befallen the Arab people has left everyone in a shock.
