UAE tops member countries in providing aid to affected people, OIC says

Jeddah: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has declared that the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey topped the list member states in terms of the grants provided by their humanitarian associations for the benefit of people affected in the Muslim world during 2012 . The volume of aid reached approximately US$ 1.5 billion, spent mostly on the victims of wars and political crises. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
