UN International Fund for Agricultural Development 35th Executive Board meeting begins

ROME (A.A) - February 22, 2012 - The 35th Executive Board meeting of the United Nations (UN) International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) began in Rome on Wednesday. Turkish Minister of Food, Agriculture and Animal Breeding Mehmet Mehdi Eker represents Turkey at the meeting that will last for two days. Eker will deliver a speech on Thursday as part of the meeting and attend a panel discussion. Minister Eker is expected to meet his Italian counterpart Mario Catania on Thursday. Eker will later return to Turkey.
