Unbound Bahrain conference kicks off

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): "Unbound Bahrain" international conference for innovation kicked off in Bahrain today. The two-day event is considered the biggest conference on innovation in the Middle East and North Africa and one of the main functions of StartUp Bahrain Week which is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the Economic Development Board (EDB) Chairman. The conference is held this year under the sponsorship of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), as a strategic partner, and the startups community in Bahrain, in cooperation with EDB. The aim is to lure direct investments and support emerging companies in Bahrain in order to create job opportunities in the local market and highlight the kingdom's commitment to building a comprehensive digital economy. "Unbound Bahrain" attracts this year more than 75 keynote speakers and over 3000 local, regional and international participants, including inspired entrepreneurs.
