Undersecretary attends reception on 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Netherlands

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, participated in the reception hosted by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Kingdom of Bahrain residing in the State of Kuwait, Laurens Westhoff, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in the presence of a number of senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps. On this occasion, the Undersecretary affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to consolidate cooperation and strategic partnership with the Kingdom of the Netherlands in various political, economic, social and cultural fields, and to enhance them to achieve common interests, wishing the Dutch government and its friendly people further progress and prosperity.
