Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets European Parliament Bahrain Friends Group

Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received the delegation of the Friends of Bahrain Group in the European Parliament. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah praised the efforts of the Group in consolidating the friendship and cooperation relations between Bahrain and the European Parliament. He also affirmed that Bahrain is a pioneering model in deepening democratic practice, ensuring freedoms and spreading a culture of peaceful coexistence, reviewing the responsible and effective positions undertaken by the Kingdom to promote peace and stability at the regional and international levels. The delegation expressed its aspiration to promote coordination and cooperation with Bahrain, appreciating the qualitative and civilized achievements made by the Kingdom in various fields.
