Undersecretary receives the Egyptian assistant foreign minister

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana Isa Daij Al-Khalifa, received Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, Ambassador Khaled Youssri Rizk, in the presence of Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Manama, Soha Al-Far. They reviewed relations between the two brotherly countries and dealt with some issues related to cooperation aspects, especially with regards to consular affairs. This was the culmination of the official visits by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in which they discussed issues of common interest. In a related context, another meeting was held to discuss the latest developments in the affairs of the Egyptian community in Bahrain, under the chairmanship of Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, Resources and Informatics, Ambassador Khalil Yaqoob Al-Khayat. The Egyptian delegation was headed by Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, Ambassador Khaled Youssri Rizk and in the presence of Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Manama, Soha Al-Far. During the meeting, they discussed the most important developments concerning the consular affairs of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Egyptian delegation praised the historical relations between the two countries, noting the prominent role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain towards the Egyptian expatriate community. The Egyptian delegation also valued the continuous cooperation and quick response by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on all the issues raised at the meeting, wishing further cooperation between the two brotherly countries to serve the aspirations of the two countries.
