UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize reviews list of nominees

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): Education Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi announced that the jury for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education reviewed the nominations submitted by countries and organizations for the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize award in its 2021 session. The meetings reviewed 111 nominations submitted by 58 UNESCO member states and eight non-governmental organizations. The ministry and UNESCO will award the four winning countries during the past two years and the two winning countries in the current year, following the postponment of the ceremony due to the COVID pandemic.
