Union of Arab Tourism Organization : Turkey hosts 80 percent more Arab tourists

BURSA (A.A) - Union of Arab Tourism Organization President Bandar Fahad Al-Fehaid has said that Turkey hosted 80 percent more Arab tourists in 2011. Al-Fehaid told AA on Tuesday that they would hold "Turkish-Arab Tourism Gathering" in Turkey's northwestern province of Bursa in April to revive tourism between Turkey and Arab countries as well as boost relations.  He added that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would chair the gathering. Noting that the interest of Arab tourists in Turkey increased in recent years, Al-Fehaid said that the number of Arab tourists visiting Turkey rose 80 percent in 2011 when compared to 2010.
