US Charge d'Affaires Briefed on Al-Jouf Green Oasis Initiative

Skaka, April 6, 2021, SPA -- Eng. Atif bin Mohammed Al-Sharaan, Mayor of Al-Jouf Region, received here today US Chargé d'affaires to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Martina Strong and the accompanying delegation, within her visit to the region. During the visit, Al-Sharaan briefed the US Charge d'Affaires on Al-Jouf Green Oasis Initiative, previously launched by Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jouf Region. The initiative aims to plant as many as one million trees, within 10 years, across the region. For her part, the US Charge d'affaires planted a tree within the initiative, expressing her admiration for this initiative. --SPA
