Vice-Speaker of Moroccan House of Advisors to QNA: Hosting World Cup by Qatar is Historical Precedent

Doha,November 24 (QNA) - HE Vice-Speaker of the Moroccan House of Advisors Fouad Kadiri affirmed that hosting FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 by the State of Qatar is a historical precedent for the country that has been committed to making all reasons of success for this major event through good preparation and optimal readiness for holding a tournament in its most beautiful form at the world's level. In statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency expressed his pride and honor to see the State of Qatar as the first Arab state to host such most prominent sporting event at the global level. In a related context, His Excellency Fouad Kadiri pointed to the keenness of the Moroccan House of Advisors to cooperate, coordinate and extend the bridge of the fruitful communication with the Qatari Shura Council, especially that the two councils have wide parliamentary experience that could serve the Arab, Islamic and international interests, indicating that the State of Qatar's presiding over the Arab Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments would enrich the Arab parliamentary experience and develop it.
