Violations case referred to Family & Child Prosecution

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): The Chief Prosecutor for the Ministries and Public Directorates, Mamdouh Al-Mawada, said the Public Prosecution has conducted its investigations into the complaint lodged by the Labour and Social Development Ministry against an officially unlicensed children's sheltering centre. The investigations found out that there were life threatening violations in the said centre as well as cases of neglect and maltreatment of children. The Prosecution referred the violations to the Family & Child Prosecution which began its investigations ahead of taking the necessary action.
