We had publicized in past we are ready for all developments in Syria, says Spokesman Unal

ANKARA (A.A) - January 12, 2012 - The Spokesman for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Selcuk Unal, said Thursday that Turkey's policy on Syria was clear and they wanted bloodshed in Syria to end as soon as possible. Speaking at a press briefing in Ankara, Unal said that "we had publicized in the past that we are ready for all developments in Syria". Touching on the issue of Iraq, Unal said that they wanted Iraq to be an example of stability in the region. On Iran's nuclear issue, Unal stressed that if a request came to Turkey to host the nuclear negotiations between the P5+1 countries (5 permanent members of the United Nations and Germany) and Iran, Turkey would positively evaluate such a request.
