Well-known American companies interested in doing business in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2022. /Kabar/. Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Moldogaziev met on Monday with a business delegation from the United States headed by the Chairman of the American-Kyrgyz Business Council (AKBC) Philip de Leon, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said. The delegation of entrepreneurs from the United States is represented by specialists from such companies as General Electric, Visa, Coca-Cola, Valmont, Medtronic, Borusan and others. At the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation and expansion of production in Kyrgyzstan. The deputy foreign minister expressed Kyrgyzstan's interest in building up trade and economic ties with the United States and noted the importance of mutual cooperation in the field of economic diplomacy. American businessmen said they are ready to work with Kyrgyz partners on projects of cashless payments, renewable energy sources and water-saving technologies in agriculture. Philip de Leon, Chairman of the Business Council, emphasized that the main goal of the business mission is to promote American investments in Kyrgyzstan and study the investment climate in the country. He expressed readiness to work with the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan in all areas of mutual interest. The sides agreed to continue interaction on the discussed issues. The US-Kyrgyz Business Council is a non-profit structure, a private and independent trade association. It aims to promote trade and investment ties between the US and the Kyrgyz Republic.
