WHO:Late Thai King is an inspiration
BANGKOK, November 16 (TNA) - The World Health Organisation (WHO) has praised late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej as an inspiration for WHO itself and other world leaders in the development of public health services for all.
WHO Thailand has posted a 8.37-minute video clip on its Facebook page with a caption in both Thai and English, saying that the late and revered Thai monarch's royal activities and projects on public health have been an inspiration for the Geneva-based organisation and other global leaders.
The online-statement expressed WHO's appreciation to the late and beloved Thai King's public health activities and projects, as they truely represented "universal healthcare services" for people, which should become models for WHO to follow suit and to further develop for world population.
Besides, late His Majesty the King was a significant role model for the Thai and the world population in fighting against public health issues during his 70-year reign.
At the end of the statement, WHO committes to carrying on the late and beloved Thai King's intention on steadily developing the Thai public health, stressing that late His Majesty the King will always be remembered not only as a champion for public health, but also as the public-centric King. (TNA)
