Women's advancement, empowerment efforts hailed

Manama, Apr 5 (BNA): Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Sec-Gen Hala Al-Ansari today received Minister of International Cooperation of Egypt, Sahar Ahmed Nasr, on the sidelines of the Arab Financial Institutions meeting. SCW Sec-Gen hailed the solid deep-rooted bilateral relations. She also lauded the existing cooperation between the SCW and National Council For Women of Egypt in areas of women advancement, strategic development planning and equal opportunities. Al-Ansari pointed Bahrain's interest in benefiting from Egyptian expertise in international cooperation and women's empowerment and advancement fields. Egyptian minister commended efforts of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and SCW President, in promoting Bahraini and Arab women's status and accentuating their achievements.
