Works minister receives Turkish ambassador

Manama, June 21 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Kemal Demirciler. The minister reviewed the distinguished relations between the two countries. He also praised the ambassador’s efforts to strengthen these ties in various fields. They discussed the field of cooperation, the possibility of the participation of Turkish companies in the reconstruction projects, as well as the proposal to establish an exhibition for businessmen which promotes investment opportunities in both countries. Training and coordination opportunities were also discussed, exchanging experiences in the fields of infrastructure, roads, bridges and drainage, as well as agriculture, fisheries, fish farming projects and protection of marine resources. The ambassador praised the strong relations between Bahrain and Turkey, and expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Works in the field of infrastructure in various governorates of Bahrain, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
