Wounded passengers return to Bahrain

Manama, July 7 (BNA): The last batch of passengers who were wounded in a serious bus accident in Saudi Arabia returned to Bahrain today.
Nine injured passengers were received on arrival at the Bahrain International Airport and transferred to the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) to complete their treatment.
The Ministry of Health announced that all the wounded patients are undergoing medical treatment, adding that most cases have recovered.
“The patients have suffered moderate to minor wounds, including concussion, bruises and other injuries and two causes of amputation of limbs”, it said in a statement.
The medical team which was dispatched by the ministry has also returned to Bahrain in the company of the wounded passengers, who extended deepest thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for their support.
