Yudhoyono Preparing Book On His Presidency

Jakarta, Nov 11 (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is writing a book about his experiences and expressing his views about his terms in office which began in 2004 as the sixth president of Indonesia. "Many surprising and interesting stories behind my activities as president are in the book, which will be released in early December 2013," said President Yudhoyono on Monday, writing on his Twitter account @SBYudhoyono. "I wrote the book myself and gave it the title: Selalu Ada Pilihan - SAP (There is Always a Choice)," he went on. The president noted that the book contains his personal story and other surprising stories that could be a lesson for himself and others. "Like a batik, the book contains many things that I have collected during my spare time, at dawn, at bedtime, and even during my air trips," he noted. The president also shares his experiences as a president in a country with a pluralistic community. "I will dedicate the book to my successor, in order that he or she may be well prepared to face the challenges, trials, and temptations that I have endured," he said. Further, the president added that the book will be his response to gossip, criticism, scorn and slander directed at him as president for more than nine years.
