Group of Kyrgyz businessmen visit Iran and Dubai
Bishkek, May 12, 2023. /Kabar/. Last week, a group of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs visited Iran and Dubai to look for new partners and expand their businesses. The results of the visits were reported by the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Kyrgyz delegation headed by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev and representatives of 42 companies visited the annual exhibition IRANEXPO 2023, which is attended by more than 1,000 foreign businessmen and industrialists from 70 countries. As a result of the visit, several contracts were signed and new partners were found, the report said.
In the UAE, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic opened its representative office, as many Kyrgyz companies actively cooperate with Dubai companies and continue to find new markets.
During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation met with representatives of the Dubai Chamber to continue developing business relations. The delegation was attended by the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev, representatives of transport and logistics companies, the banking sector, manufacturers of meat products, companies involved in the construction of trade and logistics centers in Kyrgyzstan. They took part in the annual investment forum in Abu Dhabi, where the prospects for sustainable economic growth and development are discussed. As part of the forum, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic held a number of meetings with large investors, the press service of the organization informed.
During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation also visited free economic zones. Entrepreneurs explored business opportunities in the free economic zones of Dubai and the UAE, including preferences and conditions for registering companies. Particular attention was paid to DubaiGlobalConnect, a new project of the Dubai government, which allows foreign companies to open production facilities, representative offices and joint ventures. The project also has a permanent exhibition, which presents goods and products produced on the territory of the DGC. This platform provides opportunities for meetings with potential partners, negotiations and various exhibitions.
At the same time, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasizes that in Kyrgyzstan there is a significant increase in economic activity on the part of local businessmen.
In this regard, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic organizes visits of business delegations to different countries so that domestic businessmen can find new partners and expand their business. Such trips will continue, as the organization is interested in conquering the markets of different countries and attracting investments to Kyrgyzstan.
