Kuwaiti investment companies ready to activate cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 26, 2023. /Kabar/. Kuwaiti investment companies are ready to activate cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov met with a delegation from Kuwait headed by Chairman of the Board of the Kuwait Investment Company Yusuf Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali.

During the meeting, representatives of Kuwaiti business circles were provided with information on the current socio-economic situation in the country, the priorities of the country's leadership in raising living standards and developing the economy.

In particular, the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers dwelled on the construction of a transcontinental railway, which will speed up the exchange of goods between Southeast Asia and Europe, as well as the countries of the Middle East.

Edil Baisalov also expressed interest in developing bilateral cooperation and attracting investments from public and private companies in Kuwait.

In turn, the chairman of the board of the Kuwait Investment Company expressed his readiness to activate cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
