Kyrgyz Ambassador to KSA and governor of Medina discuss issues of cooperation

Bishkek, June 23, 2023. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Ulukbek Maripov met in Medina with Governor of Medina Province, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman Al Saud.

The sides paid special attention to the development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the promotion of bilateral tourism and business contacts, the importance of opening direct flights, as well as the establishment of friendly relations between the regions and provinces of the two countries.

Al Saud highly appreciated the growing dynamics of the Kyrgyz-Saudi relations, as well as the significant intensification of bilateral events at various levels. Noting that the leadership of the Kingdom attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, Al Saud expressed his readiness to provide all possible assistance to the embassy in carrying out its activities to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries.

In conclusion, Maripov invited Al Saud to visit the Kyrgyz Republic at a convenient time for him.

Medina Province is one of the 13 provinces of Saudi Arabia, located on the western side of the Kingdom along the coast of the Red Sea. Medina has great historical and religious significance for Muslims. The second shrine of Islam (al-Masjid an-Nabawi) after the al-Haram mosque in Mecca - the burial place of the Prophet Muhammad is in Medina.
